Leadership

Our mission-driven approach to preservation begins with our founders.

Integra's founders combine over 50 years of experience, having worked together for more than a decade to successfully structure the preservation of over 8,000 units of affordable multifamily assets nationwide.  Our founders strive to do good outside of work as well, volunteering their time on the boards of various nonprofits and affordable housing advocacy organizations.

The principals have built strong relationships with senior HUD and state officials, offering Integra the unique ability to forge complex resolutions at the highest government levels.  Hans and Chris believe firmly that Integra should always satisfy three core tenets: i) our reputation should precede us, ii) our experience should qualify us, and iii) our performance should prove us.  Every time.  Our dedicated staff works hard to embody these attributes and to keep our mission at the forefront of our approach.

Chris Porter

Co-Founder, Operations/Finance

Co-founder of Integra, Mr. Porter began his professional career at Citicorp, originating construction and permanent financing for real estate development groups and managing large loan portfolios. He then joined Security Properties, an affordable multifamily group, serving as a Senior Asset Manager and assisting with affordable acquisitions and dispositions. In 2005, Chris transitioned to an affordable housing private equity group, where he met Mr. Juhle.  Together, the two more than tripled the size of the group's affordable investment presence.

Mr. Porter now heads Integra's finance and asset management, optimizing value creation for all of the company's existing investments and ensuring compliance.  Given the depth of his relationships, Chris also leads the tax credit syndicator selection process for all of Integra's affordable acquisitions.

Chris received his MBA from the University of Washington and his BA from Washington State University.  He is a member of the National Leased Housing Association (NLHA), is a supporter of the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA), and an active member of his community Elks chapter.  Chris lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and son, where he enjoys playing tennis (acceptably) and golf (poorly).
